It's time for the Pac-10's most contentious rivalry between Pete Carroll and Mike Belotti. The Ducks are coming off a beatdown of Wazzu, and the Trojans are limping back home after a(nother) devastating loss in Corvalis (the second in a row). After seeing 3 other top 10 teams fall over the weekend in Georgia, Florida and Wisconsin, there is still PLENTY of football to be played and despite what the pundits say, nothing is close to being decided yet.
There is a fun event in Winston-Salem prior to the USC/Duck tilt, the Triad German Club's annual Oktoberfest. Since my wife is German, we may make it out that way for the festivities.
