Our beloved Trojans find themselves back atop the Coaches poll at #1, followed by Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Florida rounding out the top 5. USC received 23 1st place votes, Georgia 20, Ohio State 10, Oklahoma 2, Florida 3 and LSU 3.

Strangely enough, UCLA, who undermanned but over-coached, coming off a gut wrenching victory over over-hyped SEC foe Tennessee, did not crack the top 25. They are #26. Cal sits at #27.

The AP poll has followed suit, USC #1, followed by Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Florida.

Being as USC has a bye week, and both Georgia and Ohio State play some more creampuffs this week, the Men of Troy should enter the Buckeye clash as the top-ranked team in the land.
