Football Starts Today!

Well Trojans, today is the day the Trojan football team begins its quest for its third AP National Championship and second BCS Championship under Pete Carroll. Our beloved Trojans are overwhelmingly ranked #1 in preseason magazines and more recently, the Coaches' Poll. The question remains, "can the Men of Troy go wire to wire again with a difficult schedule of Non-conference opponents (Nebraska & Notre Dame), and road trips (Nebraska, Notre Dame, California, Oregon, Arizona State & Washington)?" Time will tell but with this coaching staff, the impressive if not ridiculous amount of talent that roams the sidelines, and the experience of playing as a top dog for four straight years, I like our chances.

Did you know, USC has been preseason #1 three of the past four years? Also, in the past five years, USC has finished in the top 5 EVERY year? No other team comes close. The five straight years of at least 11 wins is also a school record.

Many games will be at 8:00 PM here on the East Coast, so hopefully, we can get together for at least of few of them. I'll keep y'all up to date with where we plan to have the viewing parties for those who are interested. We'll also try to accommodate both the Winston-Salem and the Greensboro faithful.
