Donated my UVA/ECU and UVA/Richmond Tickets...
Today I sent the balance of my "UVA Season Kickoff package"tickets to the Boys & Girls Club of Charlottesville. I am sure the kids there will enjoy going to a college football game as much as we love it.
According to Sabrina, we are the first fans to ever organize a mass ticket donation to the Club this far in advance. She said normally folks come in on Friday the day before the game and try to give their tickets away, but that is too little time for the Club to coordinate anything with the kids.
So, if you bought the package in order to get your USC/UVA tickets, why not consider donating them to a great cause instead of selling them on StubHub or eBay? Just mail them to the information in the right column, include your name, mailing address, email address, and the value of the tickets (face amount, don't be greedy), and you'll get an email form you can use for tax purposes. So come on Trojans, donate those tickets to these special kids! Send your tickets in ASAP and THANK YOU for helping out!
[UPDATE]
Four (4) tickets have already been received by the club (thanks Bob M.!), mine makes 8, and Sabrina said she has received numerous emails stating others have donated as well. Awesome job Trojans!
Sabrina is gone until August 6th, so I'll check back again once she returns to see if she received any more tickets.

Who wants USC vs. UVA Tickets?
Obviously, the heaviest concentrations of searches are coming from California and Virginia/Maryland/Mid-Atlantic area. Here is the U.S. map:
Here are the different ways folks found our blog, using these search words (again, click to enlarge):
It is amazing how detailed the search engines get when separating a search request: usc vs uva is different than usc vs. uva (note the period in "vs."). Still this is a great tool when you are targeting a certain market so the search engines will find you and offer your information to John Q. Public (or Samir Q. Public if you are in India).
If you are looking for usc vs. uva or usc vs uva tickets, there are plenty available, so I hope you can get some and join the party!
My USC vs. UVA Tickets Arrived!
I received my USC/Virginia tickets (section 519) in the mail yesterday, the season is just around the corner!
There are still over 1,600 tickets available on StubHub, and still the prices are coming down. There are a number of tickets in section 524 for $70.00+ (the face value of the USC ticket is $50.00). If you want to know what your view would look like from any section, click:
Scott Stadium virtual seating chart
Just scroll over each section and you'll get an idea of your sight line, pretty cool!
Fall camp starts in early August, but the team has been working on conditioning and self-directed passing drills already. This should be another GREAT season, hope you'll be in Charlottesville with the rest of us to enjoy the opener!

USC vs. UVA Tickets Prices Dropping...
You can also find tickets to other games (even ones not involving USC) at ncaafootballtickets.blogspot.com. The site has some pretty good links, and the graphics are good too. It is one of my creations, and it is a work in progress, though I hope to have a lot of really good info on it for you non-USC folks. Check it out when you get the chance and let me know what you think. I appreciate the feedback.

1,639 USC/Virginia Tickets Available!!
There is still hope for tickets to the USC/UVA game on August 30. According to StubHub, there are 1,639 tickets available for purchase, ranging in price from as low as $80 (upper section 514), to as high as $618 on the 50 yard line. I am in section 519, and most of the tickets are in the USC sections 513 - 519 (upper end zone - great view of the HD Hoovision board), as well as 110,111, 514, and 515 which are also near the USC sections. Click HERE to go to the StubHub USC/Virginia page.
Good luck!

Possible USC/UVA Tickets Available
There was a post on the uscfootball.com site from a Trojan who may have 10 USC/UVA ticket packages available at face value for "Trojans only." I cannot vouch for anything more than the information he posted. If you are interested (and you may have to act lightning quick to get them), contact: socalhugo@yahoo.com
[Update] - All 10 tickets have been sold. =(
Good luck!
Of course, if that doesn't work out, you can always click the StubHub link above and try to secure some ducats that way too...(yes, the Triad Trojan Club does get compensated if you buy tickets using our link, so why not contribute to the cause?)
Pillaging Westwood's Recruits
In other news, the 2009 football recruiting class is shaping up nicely. The Trojans recently converted a UCLA commit over from the darkside to commit to Troy. Truth be told, Byron Moore was a lifelong Trojan fan and gave the bRUINS his commitment early, but after an impressive showing at USC's Rising Stars camp, Byron got his dream offer from Pete Carroll and will be joining the Cardinal and Gold next season. Fight on Byron!
